Although they can be an excellent garage, I've had a fair share of problems with them. Initially, my MOT was booked-in for a Bank Holiday (despite confirming) so I turned up to a closed garage. Secondly, after taking off my wheels for repair issues, a month later my rear wheel falls off and the other rear wheel was dangerously close to coming off as well.
We called to enquire about a new starter battery for our camper (we were stranded at the community swimming pool). They ordered us a new battery in from Dumfries, came out and jump started our van then fitted the new battery at their garage, all within a few hours. Friendly efficient service, high recommended!
On holiday and we needed a new exhaust and even though they were extremely busy they fitted us in the next morning and it was done in an hour. Man at reception was brilliant, great customer service. Thanks again!
We had just had a lovely holiday in Kirkcudbright, and we are setting off home to Newcastle last week when our car broke down in the middle of the road in the middle of the town with the horn blaring!! The mechanic From Crosbie and Bateman came immediately to our rescue and fixed the car (battery problem) so that we could get home. We weren’t charged and were so stressed/relieved that we didn’t even properly thank/tip the bloke. Top marks to Crosbie and Bateman and we will thank them on our next visit in March 2025
