The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. We take a lot of pride in our food. My favorite item is the Shrimp & Oyster Diablo; a shrimp, oyster and 1/2 Jalapeno wrapped in bacon deep fried and basted in BBQ sauce. ... read more

I love there crawfish they have it season good with juice. They also delicious fried pickers!!
We started visiting Crazy Alan's last year...during crawfish season ..the crawfish are really good..not so much during the off season.. the ponchatrain oysters are always awesome... I have joined the loyalty rewards program offered on the website several times..last year and before out last visit Tuesday..wanting to take advantage of the coupons...still haven't received an email from them...
Our waiter Curtis was amazing I don't see how he kept up.The band awesome
The service was almost too good! We ordered our crawfish and it was out in 10 minutes! My impression was they were herding us out like cattle! The crawfish were small , drowning in juice but plenty of flavor! I will give them another try further into the season!

I love this place the crawlfish is sooooo good. And the drinks are on point. I would recommend everyone to go hear if you want good seafood.
I had crawfish and a shrimp cocktale... It was so good. Great people and great service . I can't wait to go back.
Crawfish left a lot to be desired, as did the oysters. We tried to convey our disappoint to the waitress who laughed it off. They have great drink and regular food. But definitely won't be back for oysters or crawfish.
There was 8 of us with our group and we all got different stuff but loved all of it!!!! Our waiter was awesome as well and we will definitely be going back!!!!
