The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. We take a lot of pride in our food. My favorite item is the Shrimp & Oyster Diablo; a shrimp, oyster and 1/2 Jalapeno wrapped in bacon deep fried and basted in BBQ sauce. ... read more

I was so excited to get crawfish this early and it was SOOOOOOOO good!!!! I need more SOON!!!
My other half & I have become somewhat regulars at the Kemah location. What keeps us coming back is the service & the crawfish. If you like 'em spicy, swamp shack is a good place for them. We like to sit outside & enjoy the band & the lighting. Anyway, if you find yourself out there. Ask for Ricky or Mosher. You won't be disappointed 😉
