The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. We take a lot of pride in our food. My favorite item is the Shrimp & Oyster Diablo; a shrimp, oyster and 1/2 Jalapeno wrapped in bacon deep fried and basted in BBQ sauce. ... read more

Ordered shrimp and crab gumbo,it had four small pieces of crab and eightcocktail shrimp,small amount of rice and a lot of liquid with no flavor.Worst gumbo I have ever had.Sent it back and got crab bisque which had a lot of corn and little if any crab,it was more like corn crowder.Service was great but food sucked

Food was good, service was good, fish bowl drink was great. A little pricey though but worth it.
Seriously amazing food! Especially the crawfish and shrimp! It was worth the trip from Colorado!
