The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. Went back for the first time in a year and nobody helped us with a table then when we found one a lady said her family is sitting there when they arrive hmmm okay and the waitress told us to go back to the front and wait for a table ! I told her that's okay we will eat somewhere else! I called the manager she basically told me she doesn't know what she wanted her to do or say! So you lost a customer loved your crawfish but no thank u! I'll be at LA Crawfish 👋🏾
The food was really good! First time eating raw oysters. They were delicious. Service was also wonderful.

My boyfriend introduced me to this place about a year ago. I love it but the service is not the same as in the beginning. He ordered one of the steam dishes with crawfish, shrimp, crab, and corn and potatoes. The shrimp don't appear to be cooked with The crawfish. The corn and potatoes came out after the meal and were cold. Sent them back and the next set was cold as well. The waitress tried but we didn't even ask for another set. Was excited about trying this place because it had great reviews. I was a little dissappointed. First off, we ask for a table for 7 and were given a cramped table for 6. After moving to a different table outside, the music was too loud so we went inside upstairs. Waitress was very nice and honest. Service was great, upstairs. Food was VERY salty!
