I was in town for my close cousin's funeral and although it had been a long drive and I hadn't been able to sleep since hearing she had died, I didn't expect to get any rest at the hotel; it's hard for me to sleep in strange places. The down pillows form to support your head and neck just right, and I believe the mattress was a memory foam mattress; I didn't feel the counter pressure coil mattresses put on your body making you toss and turn through the night. Awesome place to stay and worth every penny :o)

I would recommend this hotel for a weekend trip. The stay at the hotel wasn't the main focus of our trip. It suited our purpose well and that was to see some friends and also a bit of chicago. the free breakfast was decent

Very charming. Nice simple clean room, and decent beds. :) My mother really enjoyed the sausage gravy that was available during breakfast as well!

I cannot say enough about this hotel, its staff and management. You made my stay special and took the tension off my head. We were travelling through a bad storm and we just made a hurried reservation. The desk clerk gave us directions and the general manager was at the lobby, calm and poised helping guests with carts, bags, welcoming, talking to kids etc.

We used to live in this area several years ago. I came back for a retirement party and stayed here. i was very pleased with the location as well as the accommodations.

Our room was clean and comfortable. There was a rather loud birthday party going on downstairs that night. I called the front desk to ask a question about our A/C (and did not mention the party), but the receptionist apologized for the party and said it would be over soon. The breakfast was good, everything was fresh and was replenished frequently. The staff was very friendly, polite and professional.
