Rude
This hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated. Friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. Very convenient to Henry Ford Museum and Motown Museum, which is why we are here. Great nearby restaurants and shopping!
My family and I reserved a room here when we arrived we were denied the room, we had a power outage at our home just trying to have our kids a place to stay, we went to the stay bridge next door who took our card, then country inn charged us $180 cancellation fee!!!!
HORRIBLE STAY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! I booked a block of rooms for a travel dance team of children. This included 30 families. We booked our room before the end of January and on January 30th the hotel had to close the pool for renovations. NO ONE was contacted regarding the pool being out of order. So we drove 4 hours in a snow storm to check in and find out our children COULD NOT swim. The children were crushed and parents were very upset. The manager and front desk clerks are very rude, unprofessional and racist. Went to the pool with my 12 year old niece she seen her friends from school they all playing the manager comes in yelling at them making them cry asking them where are your parents. I told her she doesn’t have to talk to anybody kids like that period when me the adult is sitting right here to where you can ask any questions. Unfortunately when I walked into our bathroom there were still a couple of dirty wash clothes slung over the curtain rod and hair all of the floor.. not a very clean place..
Even though one staff member attempted to make things right, this was by far my worst hotel experience I have ever had. The pool was so cold I couldn’t even swim and I could hear kids running all night. I will pick the holiday inn next time.
Omg that tub! Huge! Great for a hot soak after the long car ride. Staff was funny and friendly. Breakfast was just ok.
