Very comfortable room. Location on the Lake and great walking and biking paths nearby. Friendly staff. Good price.
tv volume SUCKS, shower not so good design
This was our view! Of something being cleaned that looked like vomit. Wanted a lake view. Got a view of the roof and workers cleaning something disgusting. Stayed during covid. Didn’t feel like they took extra precautions like cleaning etc. room was dirty so we bought Lysol and wipes and cleaned it ourselves. Kinda scary. Front desk workers were kinda rude and when we were waiting to get into the pool (limit 10 people) the check in lady asked the guy checking in to sign up for breakfast. What? they accommodate for my disabled mother so far relaxing and beautiful scenery plus friendly staff !
I am super disappointed. I was told I cannot check-in until 3:00. I came at 3:20, on my way to a wedding and was turned away, being told that my room wasn’t ready. I was told that there was a team that paid 20K and they are pre-arranged to check out whenever they want. I felt very devalued as a consumer. I am also paying to stay there, but because I am not spending as much, I am not as valued as a the other guests. It is sad that Country Inn and Suites in Bemidji only values the big business.
The only issue I had was with the TV volume. Max volume was set at 25 and when the room fan kicked on you could not hear it.
We drove up from Wisconsin for a funeral and, on the way up our vehicle ended up breaking down. Today, our checkout day, the vehicle was still not fixed, the funeral started at 11 and we had to leave by 1 to get to Minneapolis to catch our flight to Alaska for a wedding. The front desk was amazing enough to extend our checkout time to 1pm, so we could accomplish all of this with just a little less stress of what we were going to do with our luggage. 100% recommend this place
