I am a realtor in Austin and I have recommended Cornerstone Lending to several clients and have used them myself to refinance our home. I have NEVER had one complaint from a single client. My contact in the Austin office is rockstar and has saved many deals and is super hands on, even answering the phone once from the top of a mountain in Colorado. I would recommend them to anyone that needed a mortgage.

Worst experience ever. I've bought several homes over the years using my VA benefits. Process was always quick and easy. Agents waited until closing day to determine that we didn't have the right paperwork required. After sitting on the file for a MONTH. Now we need an extension past closing date and I had to pay another $1,000 cash to the Title Company. The only time I know what's going on is when I start calling people and asking questions.
