The worst experience I have ever had with a letting agent. Went to view a property (original viewing was cancelled without explanation, I just got a system generated email, I had to call them to rearrange). Viewing went well, I made it clear we were interested immediately. I had to then chase to get any kind of acknowledgment. Was told three people had applied so it would be up to the landlord. Moved into our house in January 2025 and reported a number of issues with said property. Was reassured they would be sorted etc then don’t hear anything for a month. Phoned back up and got told we will speak to the landlord now. Again phoned up a few weeks later and told the same thing so basically nothing is being sorted despite being reassured it would be done now. Tired of being ignored. Nothing is done until they are pestered. Currently almost 4 months into tenancy and not one thing has been investigated/ sorted.
Absolutely the worst experience!! As a prospective tenant, I found the Lettings Department at Huddersfield to be incredibly dishonest, rude, lacking empathy and unprofessional. They changed a viewing last minute to a day when I work. I was told if I couldn''t make the new day then it was "tough". It meant nothing that I was the first person to call about the property.
