After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. Been here several times. Food is always great. Service is usually decent; however this time our server intentionally overcharged two of us an extra glass of wine, each. When I started to point his out to him, before I could say "there's an error", he grabbed the bills and said he'd fix it....!!!??!! So he knew what he wasn't about to get away with.
The Mexican drunken shrimp were good although they tasted a little different! My lobster bisque was excellent! I like the guy doing the wine tasting he was generous considering there was an 1 1/2 to 1 and 45 minuet wait! Our server was great! They need to expand all of there locations because it’s always hard to get a table on the weekend! It’s one of my favorite restaurants and wine products. This was my first visit at this location and I was well pleased!
We had a large party of 10 this past Saturday (2/17/18) and were told that they could not accommodate the extra 3 people added to our reservation last minute. I had called over 2 weeks prior and informed the hostess that it was for 7 people but we may have additional guests up to 10. When I informed the hostess that we needed to add 3 to the original reservation, I was greeted with a bad attitude and rude behavior. Our first time at this Cooperhawk’s normally we go to the one in Burr Ridge. We where very disappointment in the customer service. We will not be back to this one.
Only negative with Cooper's Hawk is it is hard to get in. That tells you what you need to know.
Great night, service was excellent , food was great and of course wine was going down smooth . One of our favorite places to eat and drink at! Only tiny complaint is how incredibly busy the front area gets and how loud it is! Other than that it was the usual great time .
The food was fantastic, wine was good and the service was great! Definitely will come back soon.
