The young lady at this establishment was so helpful. I am a beginner apart from one disastrous attempt a few years ago. My vine ,this year ,has produced a plethora of fruit, so, not wishing to waste nature's bounty, I thought I'd give it another try. The young lady at the store was a ,'font' of knowledge and put me on the right track to,hopefully produce wine that will be fit to drink. Lovely lady, loads help, 5 Stars!
Great little place. Katie is lovely and very knowledgeable about what she stocks. I stopped in to get bits for brewing mead and she knew everything I needed and gave me advice on how to use it all. I had a faulty auto syphon which I took back to the shop which she replaced for me with no issues and even gave me a wine thief for free as she forgot I needed it! Perfect example of why shopping local is best 👍 thanks Katie! 🍻
I love this shop, our house is full of trinkets we've picked up from time to time here and I look forward to every visit. The owners are such lovely people, really friendly and helpful giving such good advice especially when it comes to home brewing. It's a one of a kind independent shop, Exeter doesn't have many left anymore which is such a shame. If you ever need anything for your kitchen, a cheeky ornament for that boring shelf or you just want to brew a billion pints then you've found the shop you need.
