Dr Ivie and his staff are wonderful. I had knee replacement 3 weeks ago and my recovery is going great. I definitely recommend him.

I normally see another orthopedic surgeon. However, that surgeon does not perform the approach for the surgery I need. That different approach was recommended for me because of my other health concerns. So, I was referred to Dr. Conrad Ivie and I could not be happier! I had a total knee replacement which has gone very well. I was back to normal sports activities in three months, including golf and pickleball. The scar looks great compared to others I’ve seen. The only issue I had was that the PA and nurse missed that my IT Band was causing problems during the healing process. I didn’t see the doc until 3 months post surgery. He immediately diagnosed the source of my pain, so I was able to do the stretching exercises to start the healing process.
Dr. Ivie listened to my questions and provided the information I needed to make decisions about problems with my knee. I felt that he was interested in helping me to be informed about my condition.
I’ve had two hip surgeries in the past 12 months. The first was in April 2021 at which time I had a total (left) hip replacement. Dr. Ivie and his staff were professional and efficient and worked liked a well oiled assembly line in getting me in and out of surgery. I went to physical therapy for 13 weeks afterwards but still had trouble walking at that time. My hip pain was still evident especially if I tried to walk more than 400 feet or so. Dr. Ivie is a breath of fresh air in a very positive way!!! After all the issues I have an am being investigated for, he was exceptional in listening to my issues, explaining his findings, and provided his plan of recommendation/treatment in detail. I will definitely recommend him to others for care!
