Dr. Ivie diagnosed my hip problem quickly and recommended several options including replacement. After some discussion we agreed the best option was replacement and scheduled the surgery. All went well, easy recovery and zero regrets. If I ever need the other one done, Dr. Ivie will be my preferred provider.
Dr Ivie did fantastic work! My hip replacement went smoothly. He is awesome! Walking for one hour four weeks after surgery.

The outpatient procedure went exactly as described in the pre-op sessions. The first couple of days at home were focused on reducing swelling and pain management. I was showering and dressing on my own the day after surgery. Physical therapy started 3 days after surgery and progressed without problems. I was driving at 2 weeks. Dr. Ivie’s manner is that of being very knowledgeable and professional. My TKR surgery went well and his associates were very helpful and good about following up. At 3 month point am doing well and continuing therapy to gain full strength again.
Leg is shorter than my other after hip replacement. Was told they try their best.
Same day surgery on right knee. Excellent results.
Husband came in with a knee problem from the ER doctor. Doctor Ivy drained his knee which gave him some relief, however would not prescribe any medicines to help his pain. Also we didn’t know what to do when we went home like, I said keep it wrapped etc. Did schedule an MRI for my husband next Wednesday. We are grateful for that, but would have like more interaction and information as to what to do now with his knee
