On Aug. 18th 2025 I had a full anterior hip replacement completed by Dr. Ivie.The procedure went very smoothly, with out incident, and corresponded with all the information I was provided with prior to the surgery. Dr. Ivie performed hip replacement surgery on me in 2018, and replaced my other hip in June of this year (2025). In between the two hip replacements, he also performed total replacements on both of my knees. I couldn't be happier with all four outcomes. I would choose Dr. Ivie again if I had it to do all over. Highly recommend.
Dr. Ivie takes time to answer any questions. He replaced my hip. His staff is great. I called in after my surgery regarding possible medication change. Very responsive and personable. Took care of my issue promptly. The actual surgery took hardly any time and recovery was not that bad. I would definitely recommend TOA and Dr. Ivie.
Dr. Ivie was precise, concise and to the point. My surgery went off without a hitch. I am grateful for his knowledge and expertise in this field.
My hip replacement was the easiest surgery I have had. Dr. Ivie is a superb surgeon. And yes, when the other hip needs replacing he will be my surgeon. His office staff is outstanding in every aspect.
Dr Ivie is a very compassionate doctor. He did a girdle stone procedure on me over 10 years ago. He was the only hip orthopedic doctor within the Knox county area who would help me. Every time I have ever seen him he has always been very friendly. If I ever need any orthopedic work in my hip area I will not hesitate to see Dr Ivie. Great Doctor.

Dr Ivie and whole staff are very thorough and compassionate. This was my first ever surgery and I was nervous the PA helped me decide this was the best course, the surgical center was wonderful. I have had a good recovery and rehab. Thank you
