Had a call from a lady in the Southampton office about letting out my spare rooms. Arranged an appointment, The letting agent never turned up and I never heard back from the lady in question over the phone despite complaining about the no-show - she promised a call back but I got nothing. Load of wasted time.
Recently purchased a flat and used Connells mortgage services. I dealt with Lee who was very approachable and responsive. I was concerned about taking out a mortgage and he made the process very easy for me.
It has taken me a year to let my negative feelings of this place subside. Now that I have, do NOT use their conveyancers/solicitors. I used them because they told me that it would be a smoother process since they are in direct contact with Conveyancing Direct. I must say my experience with connells has been a nice one, especially with the mortgage adviser,Hobbie. I have had encounter with other mortgage advisors, but Hobbie is the best of them all. He's patient, always answering my many questions, being that my husband and I are first time buyers.
