Absolutely the worst place to go staff sucks and they don’t care about the people that come in ER
RecommendedI recently had knee arthroscopy and was a bit apprehensive about having it at Conemaugh. I must say that my experience couldn’t have been smoother. The ER prep staff helped to ease my fears and treated me very well. I was the first patient for Dr. Vena that day and everything was on time and I was home by 11:00. A great experience !
I wanted to say thank you to all the Conemaugh Hospital Staff. We took my mother to the ER last night and every staff person we came in contact with had such concern and care for my mother. From the doctors to the transport, nurses, lab, secretaries, and anyone I missed. my sister and I would highly recommend this hospital.
When I told the P.A. In emergency that my muscles were tearing away from my hip, I was sent for an X-ray and told I had calcific tendinitis. Wrong, I was sent home and told I would be o.k. In a few days! I later had an M.R.I and they confirmed my muscles tore and had avulsions of 3 hamstring and an abductor muscle. I have never seen a hospital move so slow. I could have gone to Upmc in Pittsburgh been seen and been home by now. Great health care Conemaugh. Well over 5 hours in the ER just to make sure my unborn child was ok due to some mild complications. Glad I wasn't bleeding out or anything might have been dead by now. Hire more ER staff and pull it together.
I literly cut my finger down to the bone a chuck of my finger was missing and they sent me home gushing blood and no pain meds!!! This is the worse hospital ever i wont be back!! Pretty sad that i had to go to the er twice in one day on 3 hr apart period, luckily windber got the job done right and they gave me pain pills!!! You know not everyone is druggie so stop treating all people as if they are!!!! Cause not all people are druggies!!! If i could give you 0 stars i would!!!
My Fiance literally cut the bottom of his finger off down to the bone...So instead of giving him the proper care, he deserved they sent him home gushing blood still and without no pain meds!!! literally the worse hospital ever!!! Would not recommend this place at all! 0 stars if I could give them! Pretty sad that we had to make 2 ER trips within the same day! Just glad we picked Windber Hospital to go back to cause they actually care about the patient there and they gave him pain pills THANKS Windber :)
This hospital is a joke i love how when its someone's family member in the hospital they don't care at all ... All they care about is the money they get they call it the hypocritic oath yeah b.s. its the hypocrital oath this hospital is a joke I'm done with this place they played there games for the last time
This was written by a very dear friend...SHAME ON YOU UPMC/CONEMAUGH!!!!! Please say a prayer for Kevin. He came by ambulance to Conemaugh. Tightness in his chest, shortness of breath and very very sick. Blood sugar is 340. I've never ever seen him like this. No beds for him to lay down so they put us in the public waiting room. He's so sick he had to lay down on the waiting room floor. He keeps saying "I'm so sick. I feel terrible ". Anyone who knows Kevin , knows if he's complaining, he's very sick.
