Well they saved my husband's life so they are amazing. His nurse, Courtney, is on top of everything. He is now in the Trauma Unit in great hands.
Good and fast ER service. Even kept me overnight in observation just to be sure. Everyone was nice. My only complaint is they charge $5 a day for tv in your room.
Was on hold for over 20 minutes three different times to confirm an appointment, there was no appointment scheduled online. I tried the following day and the same thing occurred. I finally called the main hospital number and the receptionist that answered said that there were a lot of complaints about that but I would just have to keep trying. I can't believe that some reviews say the nurses are rude. I was in the ER, Ashman 7, and Med/Serg 7 this past week and did not encounter one rude nurse. In fact they were far from rude. They were caring, friendly, and helpful from the minute I was admitted until discharge.
I've never seen such a cold-hearted uncaring ER. I brought my family member here for an emergency situation and have gotten nothing but attitude and rudeness. I work in the medical field and I understand how demanding it is but if you have to treat patients this way then I think it's time to move on to a different field of work. Disgraceful is how I would describe this hospital.
Typically I'm not a fan of Conemaugh AT ALL and avoid that hospital at all costs. However.. my husband had surgery yesterday at your facility and had to spend the night.... and the experience was one of the best we've had there.. due to the staff on 9 ROSE. Barb, Wanda, Ashton, Megan, and Kim went above and beyond to make sure both my husband and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. A big shout out to the guys and girls on 9 ROSE. You guys are top notch and we will request that floor for all future hospital stays... read more
Doctors and nurses were great!
wife had a echo stress test, after two weeks of hearing nothing we called only to find out they never sent results to our pcp! when they finally did send report we where referred to my cardiologist (who thankfully does not practice at this hospital) she was seen diagnosed with 80% 90% and 100% blockage had triple by-pass within a week at Forbes hospital, she is currently recovering and doing well. this is not the first time Conemaugh has dropped the ball when it comes to sending results of tests me and my family have had don... read more
