I've worked with Joe since the eighth grade and can honestly say I wouldn't be the athlete I am today without the help from him and his staff. Being a college athlete, you are always looking for ways to improve your game, not only on the field, but in the weight room, and from a nutritional standpoint as well. Joe and his team are the best there is in all facets of an athletic training experience; motivating, teaching, and helping all athletes to reach their potential. No matter your age, or athletic ability, I would recomme... read more

Joe Drain, Dean Adams, and the entire Compete Strength and Conditioning staff are second to none. The environment there radiates intensity and hard-work, yet is also incredibly warm and welcoming to all who step through the door. Everyone there has helped me progress not only as an athlete, but as a person. Since the beginning of my college athletic career, I have experienced multiple injuries, but the Compete staff has always taken the time and necessary steps in order to help me rehabilitate those injuries and get back up ... read more

I have been training at Compete for the past 4 years and believe it has by far the best staff, training facility, and community to help prepare you for your sport. I am a college lacrosse player and after going through two surgeries last year, Joe Drain's personal touch and program were able to get me back to top shape, speed, and strength this past summer. Compete Strength and Conditioning transcends all other training facilities in the state.

I started working out there 8 months ago after being out of college for 3 years and wanted something more than just a gym. Compete has surpassed my expectations of what I was looking for. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about not only strength and conditioning, but nutrition and overall wellness. They seem to genuinely care for each person that walks into the gym and do a wonderful job at motivating people to be better by providing a great gym atmosphere. It doesn't matter if you're an athlete or someone just looking t... read more

Joe and the staff at Compete Strength & Conditioning are the best around. I have been training with Joe for almost three years now, and I have kept getting better everyday I step into the gym. Joe's passion and personal attention to each athlete separates Compete from every other gym. Not only has Joe gotten me in great shape by pushing me to the limit, but he has also catered to my needs as a baseball player in terms of preventing my arm and shoulder from injury. On top of all of that, Joe's focus on nutrition has changed h... read more

Joe Drain and the staff at Compete are fantastic. John went to them with a specific goal in mind to improve overall athleticism and strength. In a short time, Compete helped John achieve his goals and then some. Joe is extremely professional and efficient. I highly recommend Compete.

I have been training with Joe Drain and his staff at Compete for the past four years and has made all the difference in my athletic ability on the field. At Compete, training is not just lifting weights and running, but rather a complete approach to building a better athlete. Joe and his staff take great care in monitoring and advising on nutrition and injury prevention and rehabilitation. The staff at Compete are truly invested in their athletes and will do anything to help them improve. For any high school or college athle... read more
