UPDATE: Compass suspended by ARMA for "considerable financial uncertainty" which can be translated as "sacked by our freeholder and after 7 months have failed to transfer our approx. £30k sinking fund to the new managing agent. The freeholder also informed me Compass (nee York Laurent) have not passed on ANY ground rent for years. Compass' defence is that people withheld payments. Of course they did. Terrible company, awful service.
Absolutely awful company! I am a Leaseholder and own an apartment on the Berry Hill Hall site in Mansfield Notts. As well as being overcharged by almost £1000 management fee for a 6 month period prior to me purchasing the property, which I am struggling to get back, I have been trying in vain to get Compass Block Management (AKA York Laurant) to fix/replace the faulty intercom/entry system which just doesn't work.
