Very rude employee, Joy. Turning away a donor for being 11 minutes late to a 2 hour platelet donation and then yelling out the door that I was not welcome back. That is terrible customer service, lazy and mean. How about encouraging me to make another appointment? I hope you never need any understanding.
CBC has great employees who make sure donations go as smoothly as possible. They're all friendly and helpful, so it's a truly enjoyable experience. When they visit KU for week long blood drives, I always prefer CBC to Red Cross!
Topeka CBC is great! Great staff, great cookies & juice, and they will take my triple unit platelet donation every 2 weeks!
Been coming to this location regularly since '07. The staff takes professionalism to a new high. I've probably spent 150 hours in the platelet center and I've never witnessed an accident or a sharp word among the staff.
It's awesome.
