RecommendedI go in to the Overland Park center every 8 weeks to donate. A smooth process in and out. They assure me that my donation will not be wasted.
It is the easiest thing a person can do that will save a life somewhere.

The nicest bunch of people ever!
I only had side effects fr donating once--lightheadedess, feverish. Staff member was very good to me, I remember how helpful and gracious she was. Side effects we're short-lived, and I was soon good to go, but I'll always be grateful to her.
They were courteous and professional. I got introduced to Alex for a double donation.

I know for a fact that the Red Cross takes blood drawn here in KC, and they send to the West Coast and sell it. Please encourage your friends to give only to the Community Blood Center bc they are SO much more helpful in our area.
