My elderly mother believed she could trust Aksarben. Unfortunately she learned an expensive lesson. I was in the room when it happened. My mother was charged a starting price of $17,680 (hold up all fingers on both hands twice, minus about two and a half) for a ***** furnace/AC system and straightforward one-day install. ARS Universal is very overpriced. I realize I paid way too much for my Rheem in 2011. Also, I used their maintenance plan and both times I needed a new part (within the 10 year warranty) they never reminded me of the warranty and I ended up purchasing a part (I also take responsibility but they should have told me). I need to get a new unit (2022) and I had 5 quotes. Quote from ARS was $8,200 (and that is with a 1,000 discount) and 1 year labor. Sales guy told me that nobody offers 10 year labor warranties.
