I called Comfort Heating and Air to change my filter in the attic, and to check the efficiency of my AC system. i called yesterday, they came today, and **** was prompt, courteous and efficient. i was able to take advantage of a promotional fee. i'm glad i called!

A service technician came out from *************** because my air conditioner not working. It cost me $129 for someone to come out and look at my problem. He assessed the problem and told me that I needed a new circuit board and a blower. The cost of that would be $4313. I decided to get another opinion from NJR Home Services. Their technician came out. He fixed the air conditioner and told me the only thing that was wrong with it was a run capacitor. The cost of that part was five dollars. As advertised, there was no trip charge. The technician was up front and honest. No upselling on services that I didnt need. It was refreshing to come across an honest company. Additionally, when I called to make an appointment, it was not an automated system that frustrates (most people), it was a live human with great communication skills that was here in the region (*******). Again, something I wish would happen every time I called to ask for a service.

These people are highly unethical. I have 2 AC units; 1 services upstairs and 1 services downstairs and the downstairs unit stopped working. A technician arrived and within 15 minutes told me the downstairs unit needed to be replaced and the upstairs unit was not running efficiently and needed to be replaced as well. The temperature was about to hit 90 degrees so I asked if he could do anything to temporarily fix the downstairs unit and he replied "no". The technician...****** did a wonderful job. He was very professional. He completed the job in a timely manner explaining to customer every step of the way. He advice customer of possible ** grades to keep the system in a better condition and to prolong its life.He also gave break down of prices and ranked his recomm3ndations based on price and importance to the life of the system.

Service was requested on less than 3 year old thermostat that went bad.Service man was good but the replacement price for a thermostat under warranty was more than $400 as labor & trip change Is it not outrageous. I rejected the service and paid trip charge Please be reasonable is my request
