On Saturday morning, 2/1/2020, my heat pump was not functioning. I called ARS and they sent out their "best" technician. He spent very little time diagnosing my system. He only looked at the air handler. He never looked at the unit outside. He diagnosed that the circuit board and transformer needed to be replaced with further testing to be completed AFTER that. The parts were under warranty by my system's manufacturer but labor was not. Labor would have been over $800 including a $119 diagnostics fee. I argued that fee shoul... read more
