Gentlemen I had a very good experience with your service dept. Service Advisor Anthony accommodated me to the best he could . The problem I had was nicked wire and it took some time to trouble shoot . At no cost to me and a loaner made my experience tolerable.
I just spent six hours sitting in the service reception room waiting for my Explorer. If I had known the work was going to take two hours, I'd have made arrangements to be picked up. The best part was that my vehicle was in to fix a problem they created as the result of a botched recall. I guess I should have known how long the work would take. Hold it a second. I'm not a mechanic, nor do I work in the service department of a dealership. Possibly they could have known. They felt bad. I lost the day.
I'd like to thank General Manager Mark Palladino and the team at Colonial Ford for the service they provided on my Ford Explorer last week. My concerns were addressed, the communication was clear and my car is running great. Nicely done, everyone!
It's surprising that a dealership would care so little about standing behind their service or keeping a potential lifetime customer. I had been told that parts were changed on my truck when in all reality I was back to the dealership within a year with the same problem and they told me not all of the parts had been changed. I mean, why would you replace all 8 spark plugs and coil packs when you could replace 7 of them and tell me you changed them all.
