Stayed at Hawthorn for long weekend. Absolutely lovely surroundings. Lots of wildlife. You don't need to fish to enjoy the peaceful location.
Had som wonderful days here with many old friends, sons, daughters and grandchildren teaching some of them to be very good anglers, but sadly, now it has become a private club we can now no longer permitted to afford this pleasure.

Fantastic! Beautiful loch, great fishing, run by lovely people. I can't recommend it enough. I stayed in Elm Cottage with my dad for the Easter weekend. We fished the loch on all four days, and caught fish every day. It's a stunning location with beautiful fish. Both Carmel and Gareth are lovely people and always happy to help. I'll 100% be back. Thanks again :)
