Built in 1934, the main building functioned as a nursing home for over 50 years. Renovated by the current owner, Cohen's Retreat has been lovingly restored to become one of the City's most eclectic destination for art, food and community. From the moment we entered, we were taken with the ambiance. The price fix menu for Valentine's Day was well planned. the food was delicious and the service provided by our server, Chris Christian, was superb. We will definitely be back. — with Suzie StClair Kassinger.
I love the decor and the good food
We had the pleasure of having dinner at this unique and artistic restaurant this evening. We were a party of three ladies and we were treated beautifully. Our waiter Marty was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was a wonderful experience and we all highly recommend the restaurant and this waiter name Marty.
Wonderful service and atmosphere. The food was very delicious as well. Upscale dining but not crazy combinations of flavors. Solid blended flavors in each dish. Loved it!
We had a wonderful family meal with our adult daughter and her boyfriend at Cohen’s Retreat. We were lucky enough to be seated at a table next to the the fireplace on a cold December evening, where we were cozy and warm. We proceeded to be treated like royalty by our server Marty who stayed on top of everything, in spite of the place being packed. The food was exceptional.
