Built in 1934, the main building functioned as a nursing home for over 50 years. Renovated by the current owner, Cohen's Retreat has been lovingly restored to become one of the City's most eclectic destination for art, food and community. Food is great and the atmosphere is perfect for an event or just a nice dinner.
I literally live 2 miles up the road and drove by Cohens retreat multiple times , but never had the chance to go in. This week I had the opportunity to eat there twice for birthday celebrations. IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT!! The appetizers were delicious , the entrees were marvelous , the drinks - on point!! The staff was friendly and very attentive.
