Built in 1934, the main building functioned as a nursing home for over 50 years. Renovated by the current owner, Cohen's Retreat has been lovingly restored to become one of the City's most eclectic destination for art, food and community. Our server Louis, was very knowledgeable about the menu and the facility. His service was impeccable! We got a real history lesson. Kudos to the chef! The food was delicious and fresh. We had the Shrimp corn chowder, Fried Duck, Lobster and crab mac and cheese, and the Grouper! Beautiful place where you can eat great food and buy one of a kind wares from local artists.
