This was our second visit to this lovely cottage and we were so glad we came again. Peter and Rose have created a beautiful relaxing cottage to spend time in, also providing a great base to explore all the surrounding areas. When you arrive at the cottage you are greeted with some lovely extras which is a great touch and well appreciated. We took our small cockapoo and she loved the deer park which is opposite, Petworth is a lovely small town with plenty of pubs and places to eat which are pet friendly. Superbly appointed cottage with every necessity...and whim anticipated. Owners Peter and Rose really do go that extra mile to ensure your stay is trouble-free. Great location with so much to see within a 30 mins drive, Petworth is a lovely town. Our favourite nearby pub was Badgers, really authentic, warm welcome and great food.
This weekend was very much needed for me and my partner to just relax. The cottage provided just that. The cosy aspects of every part of it; clean, comfy and welcoming with all the amenities needed. Walks in the Shimming Valley on the doorstep and tea rooms and antique shops to peruse. Can’t wait to go back for some quality time in what feels like a home away from home! Thank you so much!
