Patrick did various bits of roofing over the last couple of years which seemed okay, but just recently over the summer started a job in Portslade, took half the payment and disappeared, leaving me with a major leak, blocking my number and refusing to answer my calls. Avoid!

There was work to be carried out on my dad’s and his neighbours’ roofs. They both had problems with their valleys and most of their other roof mortar needed replacing and or re-pointing. I do not wish to waste your time (or any more of mine) so I shall keep this short. Coastal Roofing Solutions were hired to do both jobs. Their scaffolding was built badly on a flat roof despite my saying that it should be avoided (to both Patrick and then the scaffolders). Their mortar shrinks and cracks. Coastal Roofing Solutions solve nothing. I had water damage in a few places and knew my roof needed repairs. So I asked my son who has been in and around the trades for nearly 2 decades now, to take a look. He said, the mortar on the roof needs replacing, the valleys need taking out so that repairs can be carried out around there (as tiles were buckling) and then put back in again. Had Patrick around to fix an ongoing leak at one of our properties. He showed up on time was polite and sent us through a quote on the same day. After agreeing the works he had the entire job started and finished within two weeks. After giving it time waiting for some rain I can confirm our leak has now ceased.

I requested a quote from Patrick and he managed to get to the property on the same day. He provided a thorough summary of all the issues with the roof and sent me dozens of pictures and videos explaining the problem. I would love to engage with him but waiting for some approvals. In the meantime I can recommend Patrick from the quoting process perspective.
