I visted a few months back first time since the new owners took over I have known this sauna over the years with various owners come and go. The building itself is quite old with the sauna spread over three floors. The new owners have done some work on it it looks better but will need a lot spending on it previous owners were unwilling or didn't have the means to maintaine it in fact the sauna was closed and derelict for nearly three years at one point. My visit was fine and staff are alright I wish them well.

All in all, I had I blast. There was only one guy there and he was absolutely lovely; we hit it off and we had a great time together, however….. the young guy checking me in couldn’t have been any more rude had he tried. I realise there are rules to saunas but it was as though I were entering an army camp! He made it categorically clear there were just 2 guys in, fair enough, then he emphasised over and over AND OVER again that there were only 2 guys in - I heard you the first time. First ever visit last Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed it! Felt like I'd been going for years. Very friendly atmosphere. Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, all well worth the entrance fee. Don't go in the hope of having encounters, if that does happen, then see it as a bonus. Definitely want to go back again.
