RecommendedMy youngest son was in Ambulatory surgery today. The staff were courteous, kind, caring and most helpful. My daughter in law and I were able to sit with him until he was taken to surgery. We had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Snow the anesthesiologist and the surgeon Dr. Zemis. I had several questions and both took the time to answer them kindly. I have had to get labs and imaging done for my son several times in the last few weeks, every single time has been so frustrating. Everyone is slower than a box of rocks. Even with only 5 people in the registration area I usually wait at least 30 minutes. Radiology always takes super long too no matter how many people waiting. I have considered driving the extra 30 minutes to go to a hospital that actually cares about its patient. At Union Hospital we are just another number. So so sad and frustrating.
The wait times are horrible and I do feel like the doctors should go threw retraining. last time I was here, Dr Cameron told my then pregnant wife that she was 20 weeks and had a hernia which in fact it turned out she was 32 weeks along. not sure how you miss a hole trimester. this will be the very last time I ever go to this hospital, I will gladly take the 30 min drive North to either Altman or Mercy.
Thank you to the awesome nurses and staff in the maternity ward! They all went above and beyond. Thank you to Dr Orafu, Dr Nwizu, and Dr Gigax for making sure my son was brought into this world safe and sound. And Dr Fox who was a great anesthesiologist.I want to give a special thanks to two nurses Tammy and Jennifer who were both in the OR to help deliver my son!
def wont be back. had a sleep study scheduled. showed up and they were really mouthy and rude and said I wasnt on their list. they called me later and said oh we found you we just forgot to call you to tell you insurance didnt authorize it. called insurance. they gave me the authorization number! rescheduling at a real hospital up north that knows what its doing!
Dr Potts is terrible, 4 hours in the ER is ridiculous. Union did much better without Cleveland Clinic.
Waited hours to be seen and get results, 4 hours.
