This hospital continues to grow more disappointing for the community. My grandfather was taken to the ER from his nursing facility for shortness of breath. My grandmother told the nursing staff and doctor that I would be calling the desk to get an update while he was in the emergency department. I called, the receptionist put me through to the emergency department, and the phone rang for 5 minutes before it disconnected itself. Upon discharge - was told to go to a Stat Care from now on. I have Medicare and Medicaid.
The emergency room waiting room is so dark. I felt like I was sitting in a dirty cave. I can't imagine having to work behind that desk everyday. Has to be depressing. PS... I was not there as a patient.
