Phoned as is customary on Monday morning after the "weekend rush" to simply speak to a doctor regarding prescribed medication which according to the data provided should not be taken with existing health issues I have currently. What has happened to the caring, compassionate and understanding doctors that we used to have? Unity healthcare have decided to stop prescribing a medication which has been life changing for me. Never in my life have I encountered a GP who is so cold, lacking in compassion and bad mannered enough to hang up the phone whilst I was mid conversation. This happened a while ago i did a econsult its asks if theres anyone ud rather speak to i said a doctor .i was then rung up by the manager had a right go at me because i asked to speak to a doctor rather than a health care profesional . id just had a gastric bypass theres certain medication i cant have which b4 i was wrongly advied to have by a hc professional hence why i asked for a doctor ive never had someone ring up to have a go at me for that reason.it was bad Then 2 m ago im under the hospital for my ibs they wanted me... read more
Received excellent service yesterday (thurs) from receptionist to GP. Spoke to a very helpful receptionist around 4pm, advised to do an econsult, GP contact at 6.30pm and anti bios issued. Its very easy for us to criticise the Practice but when I needed assistance and the Easter bank holiday was here, I couldn't rate them higher.
