My mum's just left Alton ward, I can't think of anything bad to say about anyone who works on the ward they were fantastic, treat her with dignity and respect, they went above and beyond to make sure my mum was looked after and she had everything she needed, kept me up-to-date with anything that happened when I wasn't there.
Wonderful place and brilliant staff. My wife was in for two weeks and they looked after her amazingly well.
I'll say 99% of the staff do a fantastic job (I used to think 100% of them did until a recent encounter) Let me explain.....Over the last 2 weeks I've visited my Father on 8 occasions. As it's a 65 mile round trip for me I unfortunately encounter traffic, road closures, diversions etc. Hence my arrival on some occasions coincides with meal time.
