My son just had surgery there this morning. I cannot explain how wonderful everyone was from the nurses that checked him in, to the anesthesiologist, to the wonderful Dr. Schaefer and all the people in between. They made my son feel so comfortable from when we got there until we left. Thanks so much to the wonderful staff at Claxton-Hepburn hospital!!!
wonderful nursing staff I couldn't ask for better care
Having an elderly parent with a terminal disease who uses this facility quite often, and being far away, we proceeded with my having a Power of Attorney, am her Health Care Proxy. Yet when I call and can’t get answers it’s a shame! It is downright ridiculous! The room in the ER was filthy! Y’all need some serious training in how to deal with those that are very ill, after all you are a Hospital! The bedside manner of your caregivers is repugnant!!! Will not recommend this facility.
The nurses are amazing! My daughter had tubes placed in 2017 and now has had them removed. The doctor is amazing and they are all so companionate and patient!
My father was admitted Sunday night and diagnosed with pancreatitis. Come Tuesday night no one has changed his sheets that have blood stains from his IVs on them, ask if he would like to even move out of bed to sit or walk around, and then Wednesday morning my mother calls to see if he needs anything and he informs her he's being moved to the ICU...now couldn't someone inform the family of his condition becoming worse?! I only hope your family gets the same treatment!
This place is trash and dirty as hell. I have been sitting here for 4 hours AND STILL HAVENT SEEN A DOCTOR. Not 1 time!!!! Spend your time and money traveling somewhere else!
