I have lived in Texas, and many other places with good BBQ. These guys know what they are doing. City Butcher is by far the BEST BBQ I've ever had, anywhere!
This is the best barbecue I have ever had! I'm not a fan of brisket. I usually lean towards pulled pork, ribs, etc. I was disappointed to find out that only 2-3 hours of the business opening that they had already sold out of the pulled pork . The guys at the counter let me try some of their brisket... It was the BEST! I like it even more than any pulled pork I've ever had, ribs, etc. I still haven't tried their pulled pork or ribs though m. I cannot wait until I am able to. They have a fan for life!!!
Great food and great staff! Best BBQ around this area for sure! Missed out on burnt ends and pork belly because they were already sold out! Just another reason to go back!
The brisket was simply delicious! The rub they use it great. Trust me, there's no need for the sauce here.
OMG. I am a KC girl that has been craving decent BBQ in Springfield for years. I have to say this is it. The bunt ends are to die for and melt in your mouth. My only thing is I am not a fan of their sauce it isn't what I am used to but the BBQ is good enough it doesn't need sauce.
O my stinkin word!! I'm from KC, so I know good BBQ and this is the best! Plus, added bonus, when I was asking about ingredients, the staff quickly knew my answer and the answer was in the favor of health!
I came in for the first time today and got a pound of brisket to go. I regret not eating in. The atmosphere is great and this BBQ leaves me speechless. This is the best BBQ I have ever had! The spicy BBQ sauce is heavenly. I will definitely be back to try some sides and some links. I just wish I had known about this place before. Unbeatable!
Love the meat, the sides(beans, slaw, potato salad) were not good at all.
By far the best smoked turkey I have ever eaten. Super moist and flavorful.
