If I could rate zero stars I would. We have been dealing with this co. for 2 months over a NO FAULT accident we were in, we were told the money would be sent to us and we'd be all set. My husband spoke with a sarah t***** numerous times, she was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. She refused to answer any questions outright, would only dance around what you asked and speaks over you the entire call. Mind you, this is when we were actually able to get her on the phone. Without getting into the specifics (as Hanover is well aware of them), they handled my claim quite inadequately. In fact, when I realized 5 months later it was still "OPEN", I called to see what was going on. They had no records of it aside from seeing the same thing I was on the website, and the Adjustor appeared confused about it generally - its status, what it was about, why it was still "OPEN" - as if he'd not dealt with it since its inception. They are the WORST Insurance Company EVER. They dont call you back, drag their feet, lack faith in settling your claim. They act like the accident their clients caused is your fault. I had to initiate and call them on everything. Would not hear from them for months at a time. Took over two years to finally get a settlement. I went through three different agents, they acted as if they could not do anything. If you get in an accident with someone with Hanover you better just get a lawyer up front and deal with them that way or... read more

My car key remote was crushed and no longer worked after a car accident. I reported it and was told it would be taken care of by a dealership after the body shop finished with my car. Then when I inquired about it after I was told it would not be taken care of because he did not believe it was damaged in the accident.

We switched our homeowners,auto,and supplemental liability to Hanover through agents *********************** in Oak Ridge and have been delighted with their service. Also like the "booklet" of coverage provided by Hanover. *** and Hanover seem to work well together with each making contact as necessary to serve our needs.

Horrible people who will try everything to stop you from making claims. They even discriminate children with disabilities

Worst insurance company I've had the pleasure of dealing with ever. They refuse to acknowledge police reports or take responsibility for the drivers they insure. Would not recommend as an insurance company as a consumer or a driver.
