When we arrived at children's the sercurity staff was polite and helped us get to same day surgery. Then when we got to same day surgery the staff was absolutely amazing. The receptionist that checked us in was really polite and even tried to find a different stuffed toy for my son since the turtle was to small in her opinion. Then we went back to the holding area before my son's surgery and the nurse's we're absolutely amazing and they showed so much compassion towards my son and to me. We had a really good experience for my 3 year old son to get prepped for surgery. The only thing that we had problems with is that his surgery time kept getting switched, which we know things happen, but it all worked out. 1 main issue we had was the lady who took us to the or room was very rude to us as she spoke to us in the room and after handing our son off to the anesthesiologist (which he was great) but she talked to us like a dog. Our 4 year old daughter had surgery yesterday with Dr. Dealarcon. He took great care of our daughter, he has for the past 4 years looking after her. We are very happy with him and his team. Also all the nursing staff was very kind and made sure that our daughter was as comfortable as she could be. Thank you to all of you for all your hard work. I would highly recommend children's hospital to anyone needing care for their little one's.
