Love the Neurology department they have helped us with my daughter's Epilepsy.
Currently sitting in children's hospital waiting for surgery on my 3 week old son. No one seems to be capable of answering any of our questions. I've heard this is one of the "best" hospitals in the country. It's laughable. He hasn't eaten in over 16 hours, screaming 90% of the time... they won't let us feed him and won't give him medicine (I understand there may not be anything age appropriate). They said it's "not an emergency" but we can't take him home and schedule the operation bc it's too risky. They can't tell us when... read more
We bring our children 3 hours away to take advantage of the excellent care at Cincinnati Children's. My oldest son who suffers from extreme anxiety recently underwent surgery. I was very concerned when there was a need for an IV to be placed since he does not do well even with blood work. Child Life stepped in to help and before he even knew it the IV was in place. They are so amazing with the kids here. We are very blessed to be within driving distance of such a top notch facility.
The medical staff were friendly, patient, and kind. I was really impressed with the treatment my son received for a spiral fracture on his femur. Wonderful staff at Children's.
Nikki Dawson and I love bringing our beautiful girls there for the Rett Clinic the staff is great for information we may need and the love they give our girls, the visit is so helpful and we leave feeling better knowing these docs take their time with us thank you so much for having this for us to attend ���
My daughter broke her arm in Virginia, we went to the ER there. When we got back to Cincinnati I called children's and made an appointment for her cast. The doctors and Nurse's at the main campus where great with her, keeping her mind off the pain while she was being checked out and casted. We go back in a few weeks, the get more ex rays and another cast.
With all of the terrible things we have had to endure over the last 8 years of Jaylen's medical issues, I must say...we couldn't ask for better care, by better doctors, nurses, therapists, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, social workers, nurse aides, Dietician's, housekeepers and all of team members that make Cincinnati Childrens Hospital the greatest children's hospital around. The quality and thorough care we get from the drs at CCHMC is above any others. Thank you ...Drs. Crimmins, Ippish, Xantokios, and Seigal.
My daughter recently had an ENT procedure which required an overnight stay. The nurses were spectacular and the facility itself is as accommodating as possible. If we ever need any other type of procedure, we won't hesitate to make the drive for the level of care that we know we will receive!
