The WORST company ever! If I could give less than 1 star I would. Horrible customer service, management team who doesn’t call you back and refused to speak to customers. They left me paying for my own rental due to their lack of urgency, it took them a month to send someone to even look at my car. State Farm {Auto} does NOT even deserve one star! I have never ever known an insurance company as VILE, down and dirty, and UNPROFESSIONAL as State Farm! The people they hire make the dregs of society look good! They are liars & cheats! Even if one is "in the right" they will LIE & make false reports, and if it is their client decide in the favor of their client, even if their client caused the accident and was in the wrong!.........If you ever have someone answer the phone named "Marta" hang up!
Too bad 1 star is the lowest. My wife and I had a car accident on vacation. The first call to SF we were told our car would be "towed back to my home area to be fixed, I even got a call from the local repair shop the next day. No call back from the towing company. Called SF again and was told that the car would not be towed to *******, but 30-50 miles to repair shop and towing company would call. No call back. We rented a car to get home as our vacay was over. Deceiving practices! I contracted State Farm for auto and rental insurance 28 days before my old insurance would be terminated. I gave them all the information they requested for a quote, including information about a ticket we had. They gave me a quote for 6 months and I paid for it 20 days before the policy would go into effect. Three days before the policy started, I received three letters (one for each vehicle) with an 'adjustment, making the quote they initially gave me more expensive. I have called and spoken with multiple people in the same agents office and get a different answer to the same question each time I call. I decided to reach out to the customer service number and the guy that answered the phone was incredibly rude, and when I said please do not transfer me, he hung up on me
My family and I have been with State Farm for many years. It took 3.5 months to receive my car back which they like to blame body shops for which was not the case with mine. I had someone give me the breakdown over the phone and realized all my delays were bc of State Farm Claims which in turn made me run out of rental coverage during these delays. STATE FARM IS A DOWN RIGHT HORRIBLE COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN WITH STAE FARM FOR OVER 20 PLUS YEARS. MY FAMILY WAS IMPACTED IN THE JULY STORM WHERE WE DID NOT HAVE POWER FOR OVER 3 WEEKS.
