I have been disappointed in the lack of communication and bedside manners with Dr. Heck since I first saw him. I continually felt like I was just a number to him.
The entire staff I engaged with was so very helpful, kind & knowledgeable!! Dr.Heck was extremely present when I asked questions & he spoke to me with the utmost respect and knowledge of what my problem was. I could hardly walk(bent halfway over) day of surgery, after my surgery I walked out standing straight and No pain at all!! Thanks to Dr. Heck he Is my HERO! Thank You Dr. Heck & you amazing staff!!
Listens intently. Explains everything in detail
He explained what was wrong with my condition at my level of understanding. He gave me all my options with each expectation outcome. (including if I choose to do nothing). My first visits were small interventions (nonsurgical) possible solutions. He took his time explaining step by step of my up coming surgery.(possible side effects)I felt comfortable asking all the questions I needed answered which he answered nicely. I didn't feel rushed at all. Great bedside manner.
Dr. Heck is an excellent doctor. He takes time with each of his patients and goes above and beyond for his workers compensation patients! I highly recommend Dr. Heck!
I'm very impressed with Dr Heck and all the staff I interacted with. Everyone was professional and also friendly and polite. I do not need a doctor to be my best friend, I want a doctor who will do a thorough job, tell me in plain English what he knows is wrong with me and also tell me what he doesn't know. He explained both of those, ordered appropriate tests, explained why I needed those.
