Ridiculous that the phone rang and/or sat on hold today for almost 20 min at the primary number given on their website to make an appt for a mammogram to be told that I need a doctor’s order called in. Have never required this in the past 4-5 (sometimes the dr has given me a prescription paper with it but have never had to provide it to make an appt) times coming in and wouldn’t make the appt and allow me to then call the Dr avoiding another super long wait time for someone to answer the phone. It is unacceptable that it takes over a month to get into my primary care provider every single time I try to call. I am usually forced to see an unfamiliar NP and I get a circus for my care with a cycle of referrals that ultimately go unseen by my primary. My doctor is wonderful, but the institution and administration is horrendous and certainly does not deserve her. Unfortunately I'm going to have to switch my family's care to another facility. Please stop overloading your doctors so they can actually provide care to their... read more
