I called on the off chance of getting a plumber to disconnect and remove an outside tap as it was not needed any more and was in the way on the outside wall that was being re-rendered the next day. The plumber arrived in the afternoon and the job was soon done. Great service and many thanks to all the staff.

A friendly local company whom we had previously used for some plumbing work and who responded quickly to our request for a quote on the installation of a gas boiler with complications. All questions answered after a thorough inspection of our home with suggestions offered for installation. Very quick quote received which was good value compared with another company. Friendly engineers who rechecked with us the siting of the boiler and flue, and had respect for keeping our home clean by wearing shoe covers. All working well.

I've had quite a few issues (its been a nightmare) with the boiler since renovating the kitchen via a builder and different plumber. Chivers have literally been on call to help with everything, even when we couldn't work out what the issue was, they tested scenarios and gave me recommendations to avoid a replacement boiler system (costly). Chivers fitted us in for a next day emergency appointment to replace a faulty and dangerous immersion element. Our boiler has failed and until replaced we are relying on the immersion heater. Chivers went out of their way to fit us in and restore our hot water supply. The work done was very quick and tidily carried out. I would highly recommend Simon and the team.
