With regard to the comments made concerning Chiltern Transport vehicles and the 7.5 weight zones. After the introduction of weight limits and environmental zones in this area, Chiltern Transport, as well as other businesses, were visited by DVSA officers and representatives from the local council. It was made clear that THE ONLY AUTHORISED AND PERMITTED ROUTE FROM PITSTONE TO LEIGHTON BUZZARD WAS THROUGH IVINGHOE AND ON THROUGH HORTON towards Leighton Buzzard. Driver's constantly driving through Horton at all hours of the day when it is not suitable for HGV's. Drive like they own the road and cause major traffic every time on of their lorries drives through. Other haulage companies in the area avoid this road but Chiltern Transport don't care

This company uses the local roads limited to 7.5t with their over 7.5t HGVs. They should not be used on the B roads through Ivinghoe yet daily see drivers using the road to shortcut onto the Leighton Buzzard Bypass from their Pitstone warehouse.
