Every hospital is different. CMH specializes in heart surgeries.. I understand every hospital has different protocols and procedures.. but shouldn't it be one procedure, or one way to do things. Like Dressing changes or cap changes.. obviously you don't want any door open when you expose the central line with no hub. Or if you drop a saline flush, you throw the contaminated one away and get a new flush.. My son was diagnosed with congenital intestinal astresia, short bowel disorder. My daughter had her MRI yesterday and had to have a contrast IV. The staff was AMAZING making her comfortable and easing her fears. They came out and gave us status updates throughout the test to let us know she was doing great. So glad we have this gem here in Kansas City.
Yesterday was our first time at the infusion clinic and they have an awesome staff. We love Children's Mercy Hospitals. My daughter has been to all three.
I'm so thankful for this hospital and the Ronald Mc Donald's house for everything, they have done for my family...
Our daughter was admitted after a very nasty spill had taken place at a daycare facility. The staff and their bedside manners were above and beyond anything I imagined. They did their absolute best to make sure my wife, our little girl and I felt as at home and comfortable as possible. That paired with the worlds foremost experts in pediatric care made us feel 100% comfortable with the doctors and neuro surgeons recommendations. Thanks to the guys and gals at this hospital for caring so much about our little one.
