We had went EVERYWHERE it seemed like looking for answers for our sick baby boy. Everyone we seen told us something different, they never added up. We then decided to take our poor sick boy to Children's Mercy. They got us in quick and the doctor actually sat down and talked to us about EVERYTHING. And was willing to get testing done that we wanted. We've been here 2 times before and they were great. And we actually got the CORRECT diagnosis, it actually added up! Anytime we have had to go there it was amazing care for my son One time we didn't feel comfortable leaving our son who was a month old at the time alone to go outside or anything not even down the hall well after 2 days of sitting In hospital room a nurse came in and told us to go get some air walk around we told her that we was okay and we explained that we don't want him to wake up and no one be around. I thought the people who work here are amazing. It was so busy people waiting was so upset cussing at staff however staff was professional about it apologized would go back.if needed #awesomehospital
They have to be the friendly people in the USA! The Dr's took so much time with us! The nurses were so friendly! The stuff is just the best!!!
I cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff of all the departments we have visited! We were actually transferred to the Children's Mercy in Wichita for our convenience, but we made the choice to switch back to Children's Mercy in Kansas City because they're facility and staff were so warm and inviting !
They were very insightful and thorough with the care of our son. They examined every aspect and ensured our needs were met. They made us feel that taking him home was safe and that everything would be fine. They are committed to finding a resolution to our sons symptoms.
Great experience. Multiple calls to let us know the plan, great staff to help us navigate the hospital, friendly nurses that took their time with our son and made him comfortable. Very impressed with the compassion and respectfulness we received. The open communication during our entire stay was fantastic as well. I really enjoyed being able to connect with our surgeon/nurses during surgery to check process as well. Not a single complaint.
