This is the best Children's Hospital in The World. They have saved my oldest life 3 different times 17yrs ago. So I trust them with all of my kids. Which is why it was a no brainer to take my 3yr old now. I love Children's Mercy and all the wonderful work that they do. And the lives they save. Forever in your debt The O'Connor Family.
They have always been good to us....we have been here 4 times and the nurses are very kind...my sons favorite was Ashtyn on 4 Sutherland his night nurse....she was very fun and kind...thank you to all the nurses qho took care of my son.
Children's Mercy downtown got my step daughter the testing to get into Special Ed where she belonged after me fighting the Independence Schools all thru middle school. It took her pediatrician to get her there for a speech test and they decided to do extra testing. She learned so much at Truman High School.
Took my son in for a night sleep and day sleep study. Teresa my overnight tech was great. She explained everything very well, was patient with my kiddo and very helpful, answered all his questions and really helped him be at ease. Robin, my day tech was also very nice and helpful through the whole process. It was a very nice experience overall. I would recommend children's south everytime. Very clean room and enviroment. Thanks for taking good care of us..
My son broke his arm completely in half in June and had to spend three days in the hospital, have major surgery and didn't do well with the anesthesia and some meds. They worked hard on finding a med he could handle and comforting his nausea ness. He just had the hardware that was in his arm removed and had the same problems..... Once again the staff was amazing in handling the situation. They were also very comforting to me as the worried mama I was. Thank you everyone!
