Couldn't be more pleased with our first over night experience with them, they took good care of my son after he broke his arm & needed surgery. Hope to never return but if we do we know our kids are in good hands.
I've been bringing one of my daughters here since she was born. She recently got diagnosed with cyclic vomiting syndrome and has had a few over night stays. Every time we went to the ER or had to stay a night we got treated like family. I'm grateful to be near such a great hospital for my children!
We were at the Kidney Center and everyone was awesome. Grew up as i young child Children's Mercy was where we always went but now it's more of a specialist hospital.
Its amazing they have went above and beyond for my daughter! Wonderful nursing staff and drs

Service was horrible. We arrived at 9:45 & got a room within 10 minutes then waited til 12am just to see a Dr. he left said he'll be right back didn't see anyone else until around 3:45am & were just walking out at 4am to be told take him back home & theirs nothing wrong with him but an little wheezing that she heard (that he didn't get treated for neither) I understand they have the degree but this is my child Ik him better than anyone and I'll make sure if I find out he has pneumonia or anything else I file an lawsuit.
I was there under heartbreaking circumstances last night and I just want to say that the nurses in the PICU are simply amazing. They treat the patient and patient's family like their own family.
