Little to no wait, fantastic doctors and very respectful people!
My youngest daughter (8months old) was recently admitted after having a high fever for a solid week. They were extremely thorough and careful with her care. From the moment we entered the hospital we were welcomed and our concerns were heard. Everyone from the emergency department to infectious disease department took her illness seriously and did everything they could to figure out the cause. Do more than give IB Profen in the ER! I could have done that as well as the tests the "doctor" did for my daughter. I brought my daughter in with a 105 fever and severe neck pain. They gave her IB profen and had her turn her head to rule out meningitis. No UA or lab work. Nothing! She was diagnosed at her dr office the next morning with a severe bladder infection and was borderline septic! The ICU unit was beyond wonderful.
We love Children’s Mercy. My son has glaucoma and had a cataract, so he has a lot of vision needs. Dr Stahl and her team are so wonderful to work with. They make everything as easy, comfortable and straightforward as possible. Michael in their optical shop is also extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We cannot imagine finding better care anywhere!
