Dr Rapkin in oncology is absolutely amazing. I've never had a Dr take so much time listening and explaining. We had a great visit!
The doctors are very helpful when it comes to taken care of children. I was really happy they helped my Prince but me not having a support system and being told that my child can not stay after we been here for 2 days was not ok. I don't understand as to if a parent has more than 1 child and nobody is willing to watch them. Why is it an issue that they stay? My Princess is my son support system smh. Overall Good experience would have been 5 stars but I'm giving it a 3 due to Nurse Sara on 7th floor
My son has been dealing with a congenital eye issue for 10 years. We have been to several pediatric ophthalmologists over the years, but his vision has continued to decline. He finally received a referral to see Dr. Nischal in June. Last month he had the vision saving surgery he needed (and should have had years ago). We have been to almost every specialist at the main hospital and even to a couple of clinics in Pine Center. We just love them all (well, except for one doctor). They are a wonderful group of people and really do want to help your children get better.
upmc is the worst hospital system in pittsburgh,in the entire state. the doctors are incompetent and totally clueless about how to treat children.
